Breakfast of Champions

This morning I met Mr. Lee while jogging. We didn't have a plan to meet and run together today as I've been starting my run later (6:45am) this week. (This teaching schedule is taking a lot out of me.) So he was about finished with his run as I was starting mine, but he accompanied me anyway. (It turns out that he runs at least 10K everyday.) If I run with him, maybe I'll be ready for the Columbus Marathon by the end of my time here! :)

At the end of the run, he invited me for breakfast at his place with his wife. We had fruit - watermelon and bananas - and tomato juice with honey and homemade bread his wife made. During breakfast, Mr. Lee told me about all the rain damage that his farm has suffered, and that he would be going out there this weekend to try and fix things.

It has rained everyday for the past week, so I haven't been able to get out and see as much as I would like to. At least it's not as hot as it was the days last week when we saw the sun. They say it's supposed to clear up by tomorrow, and today wasn't as gloomy as the other days, so maybe there will be a break in the weather soon.
